The 2-line index changed my whole tracker setup

I kept dreading the monthly review because my index was just a mess of page numbers and vague labels, so I tried condensing each entry to two lines max with a mini description and a dot for priority. It took maybe 10 minutes to redo last week and now flipping back to find my sleep log or bill tracker actually takes seconds, has anyone else found a shorthand that makes the index less of a chore?
