My sister called my weekly spread 'a coloring page for grownups' and I lowkey haven't recovered
She said it at Thanksgiving in front of everyone, and at first I laughed it off, but then I looked at my January pages and realized I spent 2 hours decorating boxes that I never actually looked at again. So now I do one super plain spread on Sunday night, no washi tape, no doodles, just 5 lines for the week. Part of me misses the fun art part, but I get way more done and I'm not stressed about messing up a pretty page. Is the creative side worth keeping even if it slows you down, or did anyone else drop the decorations and never look back?
