My migration log went from a mess to a masterpiece in about 3 months

I started bullet journaling back in January and my migration log was just a list of tasks I kept copying over. By April I had tried 4 different layouts, none of them worked because I was cramming too many items in. Then I saw a video where a guy used a single column with just the task name and a tiny symbol for priority. Now my log fits on one page and I actually use it every Sunday to plan the week. Has anyone else found a specific layout that clicked after a lot of trial and error?

Tried a sideways approach once where I used a timeline instead of columns. Lasted two weeks before I went back to just jotting things down in the margins. Some of us never find the perfect system.

Wait, you seriously went back to writing in the margins after trying a whole timeline system?
