Digital vs analog bullet journal: I tried both for 6 months and still can't decide
Honestly, I spent January to June on a physical Leuchtturm and then swapped to a tablet app for July to December. The physical one felt more personal but the tablet saved me like 2 hours a week on indexing. Which do you stick with long term?

Started with a physical journal back in 2017 cause I saw all those fancy spreads on Instagram. My handwriting is terrible so it looked like a toddler got loose with a ruler trying to make those trackers neat. After three months I gave up and downloaded some random app but then I got obsessed with finding the perfect digital pen pressure and spent more time adjusting settings than actually writing anything down. Ended up going back to paper but now I just use a cheap spiral notebook with a single pen I found at the bottom of my bag. Sometimes I still keep a future log in my phone calendar though, just in case.

Yeah that whole Instagram aesthetic thing really is a trap... I fell for it too @harper_wells, bought a $40 notebook and those fancy Tombow pens. What worked for me was just using a plain $2 composition book and a Bic pen from the gas station. The key is to not overthink it. If you miss a day it's fine, just leave the page blank and start fresh the next day. For the phone calendar thing I do the same but I only use it for appointments I'll actually forget, not daily todos.
