Bulk meal planning vs weekly cooking saved me $200 last month

Got sick of guessing what we'd eat and found that prepping just the proteins and grains for 2 weeks cut our grocery waste in half, but what do you do with veggies that don't last that long?

Right there with you on this. We do the exact same thing with proteins and grains for two weeks and it's a game changer. For the veggies I just chop and freeze anything that's gonna go bad fast like peppers, onions, and spinach. They're not as good for salads but perfect for throwing into stir fries or soups. Took some trial and error but now I only buy tough veggies like carrots and cabbage for the second week.

Buddy of mine tried that and forgot about a bag of spinach in the freezer for three months.
