The laundromat detour that ate my whole layover in Chicago
I had a 6 hour layover at O'Hare and figured I'd save $40 by skipping the hotel and doing laundry at a coin op near the Blue Line. The walk was 20 minutes, the machines ate my quarters twice, and the dryer took 45 minutes for a single load. Anyone else ever turn a cheap trick into a 3 hour headache, or was that just my bad luck?
