My carry-on wheel snapped in Lisbon, duct tape got me 3 more days
Last month I flew into Lisbon and the right wheel on my old carry-on just gave out while I was dragging it through the metro. I found a hardware store near Rossio and spent 4 euros on duct tape and a zip tie, rigged it up enough to roll sideways. It held for three days but then the whole bracket cracked, so I ended up buying a 20-euro secondhand suitcase from a local seller. Has anyone else patched gear on the road instead of replacing it, or am I just too stubborn to let go?
