I regret trusting a $19 hostel in Barcelona with a 9.2 rating on Hostelworld

Showed up at midnight to find the '24 hour front desk' was just a guy asleep on a couch who handed me a key to a room with 6 strangers already sleeping and no working lock on the door, and when I asked for a refund he just shrugged in Catalan - has anyone else had a budget booking fall apart the second you actually arrive?
