Never buying bulk rice from the flea market again
Got a 50lb bag at the flea market off Highway 80 for $15 and it was full of weevils after 2 weeks. Found out the hard way when I poured a batch into my Instant Pot and saw them floating. Anyone else get burned buying grains from random vendors like that?

$15 for 50 pounds sounded too good to be true and surprise, it was. Weevil soup in the Instant Pot is a whole new kind of dinner surprise. I swear those flea market guys just sweep up whatever's been sitting in a dusty shed for three years and slap a price on it. Better off paying double at the regular grocery store and not having to fish bugs out of your dinner.

Did your friend @haydenburns end up with ants in their rice too? My buddy Dave got a 50lb bag of beans from a flea market once, spent two hours picking out tiny black bugs because he was too stubborn to throw it out. Then he cooked them and the whole pot smelled like old socks and dirt. He still talks about it two years later like it was some kind of war story or something. Weevil soup is bad enough but I bet stink bean stew is way worse.
