My mom's old soup trick saves me cash every winter.

I used to think homemade broth was too much work, but simmering veggie scraps has cut my grocery bill in half!

Heard my buddy Nate tried the freezer bag trick for scraps. His first batch tasted way better than the canned stuff, and he won't shut up about it now.

Broth from scraps, in my experience, makes a great base for gravy.

How long do you usually simmer your scraps for? @willowgarcia, does that time work for gravy too or do you change it up?
