My $14 hot glue armor hack survived a whole con day
I was building a Mandalorian chest piece for a local con in Austin and used hot glue mixed with baking soda to fill the gaps in my foam plates, only because I couldn't afford epoxy that week. It dried rock hard and actually held up through three days of wear, even after I dropped it on the hotel floor twice. Anyone else tried weird filler tricks like cornstarch or sawdust, or am I just getting lucky with cheap glue?
