Hot take: I tried the flour and water papier mache mask and it warped so bad I had to start over

I mixed it too wet on a humid day in Houston and after it dried it curled like a taco, so now I use a 50/50 mix and let it sit under a fan. Has anyone else had a paper mask twist on them, and what ratio fixed it?
