Half my EVA foam armor delaminated at a con in Atlanta last May

I was at MomoCon and my chest piece started peeling apart during a photo shoot. Had to emergency glue it back together in the bathroom with super glue I borrowed from a vendor. Anyone else had hot weather ruin their foam pieces mid-con?

Hit the chest piece with a heat gun before you leave next time. Keeps the glue locked in.

A buddy of mine tried this last year before a comic convention. He held the heat gun too close to his Captain America chest piece and ended up melting a star right off the shield. Had to spend the whole weekend explaining why his costume looked battle damaged. Worked great for the glue though, that thing never peeled.
