Just realized how moss on old buildings showed me plant resilience during my Europe visit

I was walking through some ancient towns in Europe and noticed moss all over the old stone walls. It clicked that these tiny plants are tough enough to grow where nothing else seems to. What plants have you seen that surprised you with where they can live?

Did the moss remind you of other tough plants, like the weeds I've seen in sidewalk cracks?

Actually moss is softer, just survives differently.
