Unpopular opinion: I stopped using PVA glue for headbands after a project fell apart in six months.
Switched to a traditional linen thread and needle method, and the structural difference is night and day. Anyone have a strong adhesive they still trust for this, or is hand-sewing the only real fix?

You saying the structural difference is night and day really hits home. I used to swear by glue for speed, but a similar fail made me switch to sewing for good. It just lasts.

Yeah, and @stella279, you hit on something else. Glue can actually hide a bad cut or a weak joint. Sewing forces you to get the pieces right first, because you can't just fill a gap with adhesive. It makes you a better builder from the ground up.
