Wasted $150 on a fancy book light that barely worked

Bought some high-end clip-on light for late night reading, but the battery died after 45 minutes every time. Anyone else get burned by overhyped reading gear?

Switched to a regular bedside lamp, best decision ever.

Not a bedside lamp though. That's a reading lamp. Bedside lamps are for soft ambient light. Reading lamps are focused and direct. You need both really. One for relaxing and one for actually seeing words on a page.
