Our club spent 2 hours on chapter 3 and it was the best meeting of the year
Last Tuesday at Rita's place in Akron, we got stuck on one paragraph in chapter 3 for a solid two hours, and I'd argue it was the most useful two hours our club has had all year. Half the group wanted to move on, but Deb kept pushing on what the author meant by that boat scene, and the argument got so heated Marcus went out to the porch to cool off. We never covered chapters 4 through 9 and half the group is still annoyed about it. Is it worth agreeing on a page limit per meeting, or should we just let the argument run next time?
