I use a muffin tin to sort game pieces during setup, and it's a game-changer.

Maybe it's just me, but this keeps everything organized and saves so much time.

Non-slip drawer liner under the tin. No more spills.

Muffin tins just add more clutter to the table. Those cups are too small for bigger game pieces like player boards or cards. If someone bumps the table, all the pieces go flying. Now you have to wash another kitchen item after game night. Why not use the box inserts that come with the game?

Actually organize all the tiny bits like resource tokens and cubes that the box insert never holds right. The weight of a muffin tin stops pieces from sliding if someone nudges the table. I just wipe mine down with a cloth after game night, no real washing needed. Those inserts are useless once you sleeve cards or have expansions.
