Warning: Don't spend money on a teleconverter lens for blurry photos like I did

I spent $80 on a cheap teleconverter lens online thinking it would help me get clearer shots of birds at the park near my house. But nope, it just made everything twice as blurry and grainy because my camera couldn't handle the extra zoom. I wasted 3 afternoons trying to adjust settings and even watched a dozen tutorials before figuring out it was the lens itself, not my technique. Honestly, I should have just saved that cash for a better prime lens instead. Has anyone else tried those budget teleconverters and gotten bad results?

Cheap glass is always a gamble with birding gear.

My 60 dollar Amazon scope has held up fine for like three years now lol. I dropped it in mud once and it still focuses okay. I get that some people want crystal clear glass for counting feather details but for just identifying sparrows and warblers it works. You can spend 3 grand on a Kowa if you want, but most of us are just trying to see if that's a Cooper's or a sharpie.
