Vent: Paid $320 for a photo restoration class but learned more from 3 free YouTube videos

The instructor in Portland spent 2 hours talking about manual sharpening settings, but my shaky dog park pics from 6 months ago got clearer after I tried masking layers from a random 8-minute tutorial, so has anyone else dumped cash on courses that basically repeat what the internet already gives you?
