Switched from burst mode to single shot after a guy at the Grand Canyon showed me his pics
I used to mash the shutter button for 10 shot bursts on my old Rebel T3i because I figured more frames meant a better shot of my kid running around, but a guy at the Grand Canyon last spring pulled up his camera roll and showed me 3 bursts of his son and every single frame was soft. He said he shoots one frame, plants his feet, and holds his breath, and honestly his keeper rate looked way better than mine. So for everyone who shoots moving kids, do you trust single shot with good hand holding, or is burst still worth it for you?
