My phone camera got a weird blurry streak after that concert last Saturday

I was shooting some photos at a show in Brooklyn last week and now there's this hazy line across every shot - anyone else had a laser light show mess up their lens or sensor?

Used to think laser damage was just a myth people freaked out about online but after seeing what happened to my own phone I totally changed my mind on that. Those beams hit the sensor directly even through the lens and leave permanent burn marks that show up as streaks. It's basically toast now if you ask me, time to look into phone repair shops or a replacement.

Man, that's rough. I had a buddy once @the_river who pointed a green laser pointer at his phone camera for a split second just to "see what would happen." Totally fried the sensor, but here's the funny part - the screen still worked for a few days. Then it started getting these weird purple lines across everything. He tried taking photos of his cat and it looked like a glitched-out mess. Repair guy told him it was cheaper to just buy a new phone than fix that sensor. Pretty sure he's still using that same phone with the lines to this day, says it adds "character.
