Found a free app that sharpens blurry phone photos surprisingly well

Tbh I was frustrated with all those blurry shots from my nephew's birthday party last month. Tried Google's Snapseed and the 'structure' slider actually helped bring out details without making it look fake. Cranked it to about 30% on a photo of him blowing out candles and it cleaned up the motion blur way better than I expected. Anyone else have luck with a specific setting or app for shaky indoor pics?

Oh man, I feel this pain. Snapseed's structure slider is actually a hidden gem for fixing those messy indoor shots. I've found that stacking it with a tiny bit of sharpening works better than just cranking structure alone. Like, I'll set structure to around 20-25% and then bump the sharpening slider to maybe 15% to clean up the leftover fuzziness without making everything look crunchy. Also, if the photo has really bad motion blur, try zooming in a bit before applying those edits so you can see exactly what's happening to the details. Another trick I use is lowering the exposure slightly before sharpening because brightening a blurry photo just makes the blur more obvious. That combo usually saves at least half my crap party pics.

Lowering exposure before doing anything else was a big one for me too. I started doing that specifically for photos taken at my buddy's dimly lit bar and it keeps the grain from getting out of hand. Also found that doing structure at like 30% then backing off the overall brightness a bit in the tune image menu stops things from looking digital. Definitely stealing that zoom trick though.
