My old coal forge blower gave out halfway through a gate hinge order
It happened last Tuesday, right as I was getting a good heat on a 3/8 inch bar. The motor on my Buffalo Forge blower just quit, no warning. I had to finish the batch with a hand crank, which took forever. Has anyone found a good modern replacement for those old blowers that won't break the bank?

What about converting a cheap box fan motor? I saw a guy on YouTube rig one up with a pulley, and it moved a TON of air. Might be a solid weekend project if you're handy.

Tried that once and ended up with more stripped screws than airflow. My weekend projects tend to stay in the garage.
