My aunt's 1987 copy of The Shining had a final page that wasn't in mine

She read me the last line out loud at Thanksgiving dinner and I swear the book ended with Jack fixing the boiler instead of the hotel blowing up, so I checked my paperback from 2021 and they're totally different versions, has anyone else run into an ending that got changed between printings?

Hold on, are you sure your aunt wasn't just messing with you after a few glasses of wine? Books don't just change endings like that, so maybe you misread the last page or she had a weird knockoff copy.
