Just realized the last page of House of Leaves isn't the real ending, it's the copyright page
I flipped past it 4 times before my buddy in Denver pointed out the joke is that the book never ends, it just loops back to the start. Anyone else find an ending hidden somewhere weird like the index or a dedication page?
That reminds me of how I read a whole Chuck Palahniuk book once waiting for a big twist and it turned out the twist was that there wasn't one. Felt like the book was messing with me on purpose, which honestly made me like it more. Some authors just want you to sit in the weird feeling instead of getting a clean bow on top.
