I swore I would never tell my son I was his birth mom, then a letter from his adoptive mom in Phoenix changed all of it
For 19 years I kept my mouth shut about who I really was to him, until his adoptive mom sent me a note last March asking if I wanted to write him a letter before his birthday. It took me 11 weeks and about 30 drafts to finally write 2 pages I could live with, way longer than the one night I figured it would take. Has anyone else been asked to write that first letter, and how did you know when it was done?
