My friend talked me into watching a show about a chess player and I was so wrong

I thought a show about chess would be super boring, but I gave The Queen's Gambit a shot after she said it was more about the character. I ended up watching all six episodes in one weekend, which I never do. The way they showed her mind working during the games was actually really tense. Anyone have other shows that make a quiet subject feel that exciting?
