Had to choose between finishing 'The Bear' or starting 'Shogun' last weekend

My friend kept telling me to watch 'Shogun' but I was only two episodes into the new season of 'The Bear'... I picked 'Shogun' and got totally hooked, ended up watching 5 episodes in one night. Has anyone else tried to start a new show while still in the middle of another one?

Oh man, I read an article about how streaming makes us all serial show starters. It's so easy to jump to something new when you get a hot tip, even if you're already watching something good. I've got three half-finished shows staring at me from my list right now.

You know what makes it worse, @wright.eva? The autoplay trailers. I'll be two episodes from finishing something solid and then Netflix shoves a preview for the next shiny thing in my face. It feels like the apps are built to keep us from actually completing anything. My watchlist is just a graveyard of good intentions at this point. We're all trained to chase the new thing instead of enjoying what we already started.
