My clippers died halfway through a fade on Saturday and I finished it with scissors
Halfway up the left side on a kid's fade last Saturday my Wahl seniors just stopped, no warning, dead in my hand. I keep a backup in the drawer but the cord was shot too, so I grabbed my shears and finished the sides by hand while the kid's dad sat there watching me sweat. Took me an extra 25 minutes and it wasn't my cleanest line, but the dad tipped $10 and said it looked fine. Does anyone actually test their backup clippers on a schedule, or do we all just find out the hard way like I did?
