Guy I apprenticed under swore clipper blades cut better when they're warmed up, and now I'm second guessing everything
He mentioned this offhand during a taper fade down in Tucson about 3 years ago and I brushed it off, but last week I noticed my 000 blade seemed to snag less after sitting on a warm towel for a few minutes. Could be nothing, could be the metal expanding just enough to matter. Am I crazy for even testing this, or does anyone actually warm their blades before a cut?
