Found out the average barber only keeps about 60% of new clients after the first cut
I was reading a report from the Professional Beauty Association last month and it said the average shop loses around 40% of first time clients. That number hit me hard because I always figured if the fade was clean they would come back. Turns out it has more to do with whether they felt comfortable in the chair than the actual haircut. Been thinking about how I greet people at the door ever since. Any of you ever tracked your own return rate and tried to fix it?
