That time my father in law told me my shed foundation was all wrong
Back when I built my first shed about 15 years ago, I put it on cinder blocks on top of packed gravel. Thought I did it right. Then my father in law came by, kicked one of the blocks, and said those blocks will shift after two good freezes. He was right. After that first winter, the whole floor had a noticeable tilt. I ended up tearing it down and pouring a proper concrete slab with rebar. Cost me about $400 more than the original plan, but that shed is still level today. Has anyone else learned a hard lesson about foundations the expensive way?

My coffee machine did the exact same thing last week. Wouldn't stop beeping at me for no reason, no matter how many times I pulled the plug. Ended up having to take the whole thing apart and there was just a little piece of crust stuck in the sensor. Drove me nuts for two days straight.

Hold up, im gonna disagree hard with @angelacooper here. Ive had this same issue and it wasnt a crust thing at all, it was a software glitch that only reset after i left it unplugged overnight. Taking it apart wouldve voided my warranty and i wouldve been stuck with a bricked machine. Sometimes the beeping is just a firmware bug, not a physical problem, and tearing it down is overkill. I get that yours was a simple fix, not everyone's machine has the same cause though. Pushing people to take stuff apart right away is bad advice if they could just do a power cycle and save themselves the hassle. Not saying your fix was wrong, just that it worked for your specific model, not all of em.
