My chicken Gertrude decided the dog's bed was her new nesting box

I had to choose between moving her back to the coop every morning or just letting her have it, so I bought a second dog bed. Now she lays an egg there daily and the dog just sleeps on the floor. Has anyone else's hen claimed a totally weird spot?

Honestly that's just how animals work, they find a spot they like and then it's law. My friend's cat decided the bathroom sink was her throne and now nobody brushes their teeth in peace. The dog accepting the floor is the real plot twist though.
