Hit 500 miles on the PCT this season. Surprised myself.

I always thought mileage didn't matter, just the experience. But hitting that number made me realize how much my body adapted over the months. Anyone else find a milestone that changed how they see their own limits?

Nah, counting miles just turns the trail into a checklist. You were probably crushing your own limits from day one, you just didn't need a number to prove it to yourself.

Respectfully, that's still just a number on a map. You probably had those limits beat way before you bothered to count.
