Shoutout to the community college avionics lab near my house
They let me practice on a real flight simulator console. Nailed the autopilot calibration after three tries. What local spots help you train?

Volunteered at the community woodshop downtown last summer. They have open nights where anyone can use the tools. I tried making a birdhouse but messed up the angles twice. The instructor showed me how to use a miter saw properly. Now I can cut straight lines every time. It's a good spot for learning basic woodworking skills.

Do you still drop by that woodshop, @mia_fisher76? I mean, having a place with tools and someone to show you the ropes is so much better than trying to learn from a video. Sounds like a solid way to get better at it.
