One driver's phone call changed how I screen transport companies
Last month in Columbus, I booked a carrier for my truck and the dispatcher spent 20 minutes asking about my cargo dimensions and tie-down spots, most brokers rush through that in 3 minutes. That little focus felt rare, has anyone else had a dispatcher who actually sounded like they cared about the load details?

My last dispatcher asked more questions about my dog riding shotgun than the cargo. Buddy got a full rundown on treat preferences and nap spots. The actual freight info took maybe two minutes. I had to double check I called the right number. Wish more of them cared about tie-down spots the way that guy cared about my dog.
