I finally realized why so many techs over-torque oil drain plugs after seeing the same stripped pan threads twice this week.
The click of a torque wrench feels different on a cold aluminum pan versus a warm steel one, so I started setting mine 5 ft-lbs lower for cold engines to avoid that $200 repair bill, does anyone else adjust their spec based on temperature?

My pans see more action than my dating life.

Started using those meal kit boxes, forced me to cook more often. Honestly, the routine helped more than any dating app.
