Remember when we used to mix our own filler?
I was at a trade show in Detroit maybe 15 years ago, and a guy from a materials company showed me a new pre-mixed filler. He said it would save me 3 minutes per repair. I thought it was a gimmick. Tried a tub on a fender job the next week and the consistency was perfect every single time. It totally changed my prep routine. Now I see the young guys come in and they've never even seen the old cans of powder. Anyone else make that switch back in the day and never look back?

The old powder cans were a pain. The pre-mixed stuff was a real game changer for consistency.
