Battery relocation job turned into a 3 day nightmare on an S10
Customer brought in an old S10 wanting the battery moved to the bed. Figured 4 hours tops. Ended up chasing a bad ground issue for almost 3 full days because the previous owner had hacked up the harness under the dash. Anyone else run into a simple job that snowballed because of someone else's patchwork?

That 4 hour estimate turning into three days sounds brutal. What kind of hack job did they do under the dash that made finding the ground so tough? Was it like a bundle of random wires taped together or something worse?
