A park ranger at Bryce Canyon said my star trail photo was 'too clean' and now I can't unsee it
She pointed at the gaps between my stacked 30-second shots and asked if I'd ever tried live composite mode, which made me realize I've been fighting light pollution curves for 2 years when the real issue was my own setup, so has anyone else had a stranger's throwaway comment totally rewire their whole editing workflow?

So what exactly did she show you that made it click... was it the way the gaps let stars jump instead of smooth lines, or something else about how the camera stacks the frames?
