Put down $200 on a ground-penetrating radar rental for a field survey and got nothing but a bunch of false positives from old rusty nails
The unit kept screaming at me every few feet, had me digging holes all weekend in Kansas, and the only thing I found was a 1920s bottle cap, has anyone else dealt with a rental unit that just wasn't calibrated right?

Did you try calibrating it by waving it over your head three times and yelling "beep"? Sounds like that rental place sent you a glorified metal detector on purpose.
