Swapped to a digital manifold after 15 years of analog gauges

Honestly, I used to swear by my old analog manifold set, thought it was all I needed. But last month a guy from a supply house in Denver let me borrow his Testo 550 for a tricky R410A system, and I got it dialed in 20 minutes faster than usual. Ngl, now I'm looking at getting one of my own for the shop. Anyone else made the switch and noticed a big difference in accuracy?

lily89 is probably right about data logging being useful for some guys, but honestly I still roll with my old analog set. Never had a job where I needed to pull up history on my phone to figure out a charge, just learn the system and you're good. Digital crap breaks or the battery dies on you at the worst time, analog never lets you down.

That Testo 550 saved me on a 410A charge last month where analog would've had me guessing for an extra hour. The real game changer for me has been logging data on my phone to catch recurring issues across different jobs.
