Serious question, has anyone else bought a cheap universal dryer belt tool that just snapped?
I wasted $22 and an hour on a flimsy plastic tensioner that broke the second I tried to loop the belt over the motor pulley, so what's the actual go-to brand you all trust for that job?

Oh wow, $22 for a tool that broke instantly? That's brutal! I only trust the OEM belt kit from the appliance maker now.

Ugh, aftermarket parts are such a gamble these days.

Been there, it's the worst! Those cheap universal tools are just brittle junk. I finally gave up and bought the OEM belt installation kit from the appliance parts store. It was more money upfront, but the metal tensioner is solid and it came with the right belt. Saved me so much headache on the second dryer.
