Saw a 1980s Maytag dryer still running at a laundromat in Boise, made me think about planned obsolescence.

Planned obsolescence" feels like a stretch for one old dryer.

Ever had a dryer just stop heating? I mean, mine did that last year and it was just a busted thermal fuse. Cost like twenty bucks to fix myself.
