Which sub is worse for anime debates: the main one or the circlejerk one?

I posted a hot take about pacing in the big anime subreddit last week and got 200 angry replies. Then I copy pasted it into the anime circlejerk sub and they roasted me for being too serious. Which one is actually better for real discussion?

Main sub is trash for actual debate, too many casuals who downvote instead of arguing. Circlejerk sub at least knows it's ridiculous so you can actually have fun with it.

Huh, you really think the circlejerk is more fun? I kinda feel like the main sub is still where the real conversations happen, even with all the downvoting. The circlejerk posts just feel like inside jokes to me half the time.
