My friend in Chicago argued that the best anime debates happen on Reddit, not forums

Last week, we were talking about the Demon Slayer finale and he said Reddit threads have better takes because of the voting system. I think old school forums like this one let people have longer, more detailed talks without posts getting buried. Which platform do you think is better for real anime discussion?

Reddit's speed makes it a bad place for real talk. Maybe the real loss is how fast good ideas get buried.
