Hit 200 completed anime series last night - dub vs sub debate got me thinking

I just crossed 200 series on my MAL list and it got me wondering if I'm wasting time watching dubs instead of subs. Like I blasted through Naruto Shippuden in 3 weeks dubbed but missed some emotional beats. Does sticking to one format actually change how you experience the story or am I overthinking this?

Dubbed Naruto hits different, I respect the marathon grind but you're overthinking this. Finishing Shippuden in 3 weeks means you were hooked regardless, and missing some emotional beats happens with subs too if you're reading fast. Enjoy the ride, 200 series is a legit milestone and format preference is more about comfort than quality in my book.

Solid point about reading speed too, I've definitely blown through subbed episodes only to realize later I missed something important. The comfort factor is real, some people just connect better with voices they don't have to work to keep up with. 200 series is a huge deal regardless of how you watch, and this whole debate kinda melts away when you're just enjoying the story.
