Just realized Harry Potter could have ended with Voldemort winning if one detail changed

I was rewatching the final battle scene last weekend and it hit me: if Neville hadn't killed Nagini at that exact moment, Voldemort would have kept all his horcruxes intact. Harry was already playing dead, so nobody else knew the snake was the last one. That one swing of the sword by Neville literally saved the entire wizarding world. Anyone else find other endings that hinge on a single character's choice?

Gotta expand on that Neville moment because it's even crazier than people think. I mean, think about what would have happened if Voldemort had won that fight. He'd have gone right back to ruling with fear, probably turning Hogwarts into some dark fortress or something. And the crazy part is Neville didn't even know he was destroying a horcrux at the moment, he just saw an opportunity to kill a giant snake and went for it. If he had hesitated for even one second, or if the sword hadn't flown out of the Sorting Hat at the right time, the whole war would have been lost. It's wild how the entire story comes down to a 17 year old kid with a sword and some serious guts.
