Warning: the panels I install now barely need a screwdriver compared to the old cans
Back in 2009 I was up in attics in Bakersfield running 22 gauge wire to can-style panels and every zone took me an hour with a meter and a drill. Now these new all-in-one units snap onto a bracket and self-learn the zones, so a full 8 zone house takes me half a day instead of two. Does anyone else miss the old hands-on stuff, or am I just getting old and grumpy?
